Accessibility Statement

Mane Biotech GmbH (niostem) is committed to making its website and online shop at www.niostem.com accessible to as many people as possible, in accordance with the German Accessibility Strengthening Act (Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz – BFSG).

1. Compliance Status

An automated accessibility audit of the website has been completed. This website is currently partially compliant with WCAG 2.1 / 2.2 Level AA requirements.

2. Non-accessible Content & Ongoing Remediation

The audit identified several accessibility issues that are currently being remediated as part of our ongoing accessibility programme, including improvements related to:

  • Moving and animated content

  • Form accessibility and labels

  • Keyboard navigation and focus visibility

  • Colour contrast

  • Screen reader compatibility and accessible names

3. Micro-Enterprise Status & Disproportionate Burden (§ 17 BFSG)

Mane Biotech GmbH qualifies for the micro-enterprise exemption under § 2 BFSG (employing fewer than 10 persons with an annual turnover under €2 million). While we prioritize fixing all critical accessibility barriers, the immediate overhaul of certain third-party components and complex legacy code represents a temporary disproportionate burden.

4. Third-Party Content

Some functionality relies on third-party services or Shopify applications that are outside our direct control. While we aim to use accessible solutions wherever possible, accessibility of these components cannot always be guaranteed.
