I am writing this as a serious financial warning: doing business with Niostem carries a high risk of losing your money. My experience involves deceptive pricing, a Dead-on-Arrival product, and a support team that lies in writing to stall the return clock.
Note: They only began responding to my support tickets after I posted negative reviews online.
1. BAD FAITH STALLING & LYING (The "Return Label" Trap) They actively obstructed my return for weeks using false promises.
The First Lie (Dec 8): When I reported the unit was dead, Support claimed: "there should be a return label included in the box." There was not.
The Written Promise (Dec 10): After I confirmed the box was empty, Support wrote to me explicitly: "That said, I have requested a return label so we can recall your device... Once the label is ready, you’ll receive an email from our team with the return label."
The Bait-and-Switch (Dec 23): They made me wait 13 days for this "requested" label. When I demanded an update, they suddenly reneged on their written promise: "To clarify: for refund returns, we don’t issue prepaid return labels. The return shipment needs to be arranged by the customer..."
The Reality: They promised a label to shut me up, stalled for two weeks, and then tried to force me to pay for international shipping on a defective unit. This is a calculated delay tactic.
2. DECEPTIVE PRICING PRACTICES Their Black Friday sale claimed "savings up to €690." When my cart only showed a ~$352 discount, I asked why.
Niostem's Admission (Nov 25): They admitted the "savings" were based on an internal valuation of free gifts, not market price: "The €352 reference value comes from our fixed EU retail pricing model... it is not calculated from the USD price shown on the US store."
The Truth: They valued a set of electrodes at €352 for the sake of the "discount," even though their own website sells that exact item for $77. They inflated the "value" by ~500% to fake a bigger sale.
3. FINANCIAL LIABILITY (Non-EU Buyers Beware) I received a unit that was Dead on Arrival. It would not initialize for me or three family members. The Cost: I paid $70 USD in import duties. Because Niostem refuses to reimburse these fees even for a defective unit, I am out of pocket $70 simply for the privilege of receiving their broken trash.
Conclusion: Niostem collected my money, delivered a brick, promised a return label in writing, made me wait two weeks, and then retracted the offer. This is not "bad service"; this is bad faith.

They only bothered to reply to me after I began posting negative reviews on public forums. They do not care about solving your problem; they only care about silencing public complaints.
2. The Return "Trap" (Bad Faith Tactics) Once they finally engaged, they actively obstructed the return process to run out the clock:
The Lie: First, they claimed a return label was in the box. It was not.
The Stall: On Dec 10, they confirmed in writing that they were generating a digital label for me.
The Bait-and-Switch: They made me wait 13 days for this promised label. Then, on Dec 23, they reneged, suddenly refusing to send it and claiming I must pay for return shipping under their "Withdrawal Policy."
The Reality: They are deliberately misapplying a policy meant for "changing your mind" to a Warranty Claim. Under German Law, they are required to pay for the return of defective goods. They are trying to force me to pay international freight to return their own broken waste.
3. Deceptive Pricing Their business practices are dishonest from the start. Their Black Friday promo claimed "savings up to €690," but the math was fake. They inflated the value of the included electrodes by roughly 500% (valuing a $77 item at €352) to market a discount that did not exist.
4. Quality Control & Financial Liability The unit I received was Dead on Arrival. It would not initialize for me or three other family members. It is a brick. Very pleased with my Niostem wearable so far. After a week of daily sessions, I can feel a subtle stimulation on my scalp for 30 minutes which is not unpleasant to be honest. Gives me hope the device is working. The wearable feels premium and well-built, and the app is intuitive and easy to use. It’s simple to incorporate into my routine (every evening before bed), and I appreciate that it’s a non-pharmaceutical, non-invasive approach to hair-regeneration. So far, I’m optimistic about the potential for thicker, healthier hair with continued use. Kudos for coming up with this brand new approach, while it's still new a lot of people may fear it but this is worth it so far.
It was supposed that I would receive an instruction manual (as normal) and nothing inside the box, even no instructions to download anyone from internet. Dissapointed for this
